Wandering into the labyrinth of gullies and pillars of Canyonlands National Park can quickly turn into a challenge. One could easily become disoriented in the twists and turns of the red rocks and camouflaged walls. Or a wrong step could send you into a tumble down a hundred foot deep wash.
