The Crossing

An ultra-detailed panoramic view of the Cincinnati skyline and Roebling Suspension Bridge at sunset.
Completed in 1867, the bridge which spans across Ohio River from Cincinnati, OH to Covington, KY still conjures spirits of the Industrial Revolution - even after nearly 150 years. At the time of completion, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world at 1,057 feet between the main spans. John Roebling, architect of this bridge, later went on to design and build the Brooklyn Bridge.
