Creation Falls

Hiking along the Rock Bridge trail in the Red River Gorge Geological Area leads to this beautiful waterfall named Creation Falls. The pool it falls into is surrounded by large sandstone overhangs which have been created over the millennia to form a bowl shape. On the other side of the ring, the water exits and meets with another tributary. About 50 yards downstream, is the precarious Rock Bridge, a natural arch that bridges the banks of the creek.
