I rounded a bend in the loop of Cades Cove and was wonderstruck by the light of the setting sun passing through the remaining leaves of a distant tree and filtering into the field of cotton flower grass. The translucent fauna radiated into an attractive texture. Tiny insects or grass fibers floated in the breeze, illuminated by the warm light, added to the atmosphere of the scene. View Print Options
